Cairde Local is a Chrome extension and web app that helps you research local businesses by pulling together public Google Business Profile data. It adds a small “Cairde Audit” control to business listings on Google Maps and opens a report in this web app.
The extension only runs on google.com/maps pages. It reads the business name and, where available, the business's Google Maps URL directly from the page you're already viewing, in order to open the matching report. It does not read your Google account, your search history, your location, or any other page you visit.
If you add businesses to the comparison tool, that list (business names and Maps links) is saved using Chrome's built-in storage.local API, on your device only. It is never transmitted anywhere except when you choose to run a comparison, and it is never sold or shared. You can clear it at any time by removing businesses from the comparison list or uninstalling the extension.
When you request an audit, competitor comparison, review summary, or post summary for a business, the web app sends the business's name and/or Google Maps identifier to DataForSEO, a third-party data provider, to retrieve publicly available Google Business Profile information (ratings, categories, hours, reviews, posts, and similar nearby businesses). That data is temporarily cached on our server (typically for a few hours) purely to avoid re-paying for the same lookup, and is not linked to you personally. We do not require accounts, logins, or payment information, and we do not store a persistent profile about you or your searches.
If you generate a PDF report, it is built on demand from the same data described above and returned directly to your browser. We do not retain a copy of generated reports on our servers.
Cairde Local does not use advertising networks, third-party analytics/tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
If how Cairde Local handles data changes meaningfully, this page will be updated and the “last updated” date above will reflect that.
